Fitness and Body
Building
Whether you want to enter the world of competitive body
building or whether you just want to get fit and look great,
there are many products and courses online to help you. Some
are not so great, but we do recommend these.
Vince DelMonte's No-Nonsense Muscle
Building
Vince DelMonte has great credentials: kinesiology degree,
professional fitness coach, contributor to fitness magazines
and, if what he says is true, a formerly skinny guy who now has
all the bulk and muscle size and strength anybody could wish
for.
Vince DelMonte's No-Nonsense Muscle
Building is very much a "natural" muscle building
program. DelMonte hates steriods and even
legal supplements, and loses no opportunity to
diss them. His program can help anyone: male or female, skinny
or chubby, old or young. It focuses on smart fitness
training.
Vince DelMonte's No-Nonsense Muscle
Building discusses some very specific methods of
making the most of your fitness workout, all based on
scientific facts. You'll average just 3 hours of weight
training a week, but you must do it according to
the right routine, which is clearly set out in the e-book. This
program promises "serious muscle gain", so you can either use
it to just not be skinny or chubby any more, or to go further
and bulk up to competition levels.
Sign up for the free e-zine and get access to some terrific
video coaching lessons. The bonuses that come with this program
are genuine value, and we particularly liked the
Metabolic Growth Calculator.

The Fit Chic 365 Days of Fitness Success
System
At first we were a bit put off by the fact that the author
of The Fit Chic fitness system for women
was a man! But once we took at look at it we understood the
value, because Scott Tousignant pulls no
punches and we found that a good thing! He lays it all on the
line, makes you take a good close look not only at your lack of
fitness and poor body condition, but at your excuses for
staying that way. Our reviewer said she broke down in tears
when she first saw this, but she soon realized it was just the
approach she needed.
The Fit Chic system contains 2 big
e-books, and a 300 page workout journal. The workout program is
designed to fight the boredom that usually stops women from
continuing. The 365 day plan includes exercises (with pictures
and descriptions to make sure you do them right), as well as a
nutrition plan that is also broken down to suit the stages you
go through in a year. The exercises are quick, and work very
easily into a busy woman's daily schedule --- our reviewer
particularly liked that! There are also exercises you can do at
home, without a lot of space, if you don't have the time or
inclination to join a gym.
We like The Fit Chic's hard-hitting
"in your face" approach, but if you prefer a gentler approach
this won't be for you.

Turbulence Training
Another program that promises more results in less time is
Craig Ballantyne's Turbulence
Training. Modern fitness thinking seems to put
less focus on long cardio workouts and more on shorter, more
intense workouts with fewer reps and more resistance.
Ballantyne is a former athlete who wanted to keep his toned
body after he stopped competing. Turbulence
Training is based on the types of fitness
regimens practiced by power athletes, which didn't include
long, slow distance cardio exercises.
Turbulence Training focuses on
interval training, which he promises will burn more calories in
and out of the gym.
At 76 pages, the ebook is somewhat shorter than some other
programs, but it does contain 30 pages or so of photos and
instructions to help ensure you do the exercises correctly.
There's also an MP3 audio that talks about Ballantyne's
philosophy around fat burning. The program also includes a
nutrition component to complement the exercises.
A little light on the detail, but a good program
nonetheless.
